When is it Best to Invest?
I have been telling you for months now that the real estate market provides a ton of opportunities right now for people looking to buy, sell, or possibly both, with the intention of moving up on this market. But what about those of you who are not looking to move? Are there ways that you can take advantage of this market? Absolutely.
Many people are taking the opportunity to invest in real estate, since the prices are so low, and the returns on real estate have outperformed stocks and mutual funds by plenty over the years. A home can be purchased, you can have some work done to it, and then rent it to someone, earning as much as 10-20% per year on your investment! Over time, after factoring in appreciation, you will have earned even more.
People are also buying and renovating properties to resell them immediately. When this is done correctly, it is not uncommon to earn a return in the range of 20 to 30%. However, when its not done correctly, people can have losses that they didn't anticipate.
There are a variety of ways to invest in real estate, and I have worked with an assortment of investors who used the methods that I have discussed. If you want to know more about how you can get involved in real estate investing, and you'd like to learn about how you might be able to finance an investment, please contact me at your earliest convenience.
